2/9/24, Lady Mavs Softball: The Lady Mavs Softball game will start at 4 PM instead of 5 PM this Friday.

Senior Parents, We are hosting a FAFSA night tonight at 6:00PM in the library. Make sure you look over the handouts given to your student in class to make sure you bring what is needed for this process, if you need more, we have copies. Also, please bring a laptop or electronic device if you have one. The presentation will be available in both English and Spanish. We hope to see you there!

School Closure 2/2/2024 Dear EISD Families, EISD will cancel classes on Friday 2/2/24 due to an increasing number of student and staff illnesses. Custodial and maintenance staff will conduct thorough cleanings of our buildings as well as school buses. This will not affect extracurricular activities that are already scheduled. We hope this opportunity to disinfect our facilities will help curb the number of illnesses that are affecting the greater school community. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we appreciate your understanding as we focus on providing a safe and healthy environment for students to return to on Monday 2/5/24. TUESDAY, 1/16/24:All EISD campuses will begin school at regular time, no delays.

1/16/24, Mavericks and Lady Mavs Basketball: There will be no games on 1/16/24. The games against Early have been moved to Wednesday, January 17th, in Early. Only Varsity will be playing, with the Lady Mavs starting at 5:00 PM, followed by the Mavericks at 6:15 PM.

1/15/24, All Campuses will have a delayed start at 10:00 AM. Buses will run 2 hours late.

The Eastland County Livestock Show is this week! Eastland FFA has 179 animal entries plus some really good Ag Mechanics projects. If you have time, come out and see the students in action!

12/15/23, Boys Basketball: The Maverick games tonight have been canceled. The Lady Mavs will still be playing in Peaster, JV @ 5:00 PM, Varsity at 6:15 PM.

The Eastland Independent School District Bands are proud to present the 2023 Christmas Concert! The concert will be held at the Eastland High School Auditorium on December 18th. 6th Grade Band will perform at 6pm, Middle School Band will perform at 6:30 and the High School Band performs at 7pm.

12/12, Mavericks Basketball: JV Mavericks will not be playing in Glenn Rose on Tuesday. Varsity Mavericks will play at 6:00 PM in Glenn Rose.

11/28, EHS Mavericks Basketball @ Colorado City: This Tuesday, the Mavericks will play at Colorado City. JV will play at 5PM, and Varsity will play at 6:15 PM. Tickets for Tuesday's game can purchased at the game with a card, but cash will not be accepted. 11/21, EHS Maverick and Lady Mavs Basketball: The Boys Basketball games against Jacksboro on November 21st have been canceled. The Girls Basketball teams will still be playing Jacksboro on the 21st. JV plays 5 PM, followed by the Varsity game at 6:15 PM.

11/20, EHS Lady Mavs Basketball: The JV Girl's Basketball game against Newcastle on November 20th has been canceled. Varsity will play Newcastle at 3:15 PM.
