Eastland Middle School's FFA teams have been doing great! They have worked hard all semester, competed against high school kids at every contest, and held their own each time! This past weekend Eastland Middle School FFA teams traveled to A&M University to compete in the District 8 contest. At this contest, the students actually competed against students their own age.
The Meat Team won the contest: Kylee was high individual, Tucker was 2nd high, Maggie was 3rd high, Adriel was 5th high, and Wesley was 6th high. They did a great job!
The Livestock students placed 5th. Blake was 7th high. Tank, Kylee and Addi also did a terrific job considering they had to answer questions! This was a tough part of the contest, but they stepped out of their comfort zone and triumphed.
Middle School Vet Tech students finished up a couple of weeks ago. While there is no intermediate division in Vet Tech, Ella, Allison, and Rhyse did an amazing job keeping up with the high school girls!
Eastland Middle School and EISD are proud of these young FFA students, and are excited to see how they improve year by year! Thank you to all who support these kids along their way!
