On February 15th, the Junior Chamber Ambassadors at EHS had lunch with local officials. Guest Speakers were County Judge David Hullum, Mayor Larry Vernon, City Manager John Oznick, Jr.. Superintendent Jeremy Williams, and Chamber of Commerce Representatives Julie Elrod and Tiffany Beard were also present for the meeting.
The Speakers focused on the importance of Citizen Service, pointing to their own careers and lives as a means of giving back to the community that has given much to them. They also asked students for ways to improve the city, and impressed on them the importance of their choices moving forward.
